A few weeks ago, we headed to Victoria Baths in Manchester for the first vegan Christmas market the city has held.
little bit of a massive delay, I thought I’d better do a post on my trip to NYC and share all my lovely beauty buys with you.
Warning: this is a mammoth post (as you’d expect!)
Last week all the planets aligned and all six members of Beauty Club actually managed to get together! With busy jobs, families and other commitments we can’t always do this as much as we would like but my vegan mac n cheese was obviously too good to turn down…
So I’m not always a skincare saint *removes halo* and in typical style I had a few too many on Saturday night and after falling asleep on the couch at 2am I decided that going straight to bed was definitely me living my best life. It’s never the greatest decision as it’s bad enough waking up with the lingering headache but crusty eyelashes are the worst. Enter my skin saviour…
In amongst the whirlwind of Christmas (driving over 500 miles, drinking too much Baileys and eating twice my body weight in cheese) I was completely spoiled by friends and family with some gorgeous beauty gifts.
Do you have a little getaway planned over the next few months and need a little inspiration of what to pick up to perk up your summer holiday?
Then look no further, as I’ve compiled my top
ten twelve (c’mon, I got it down from over 20!) must haves to pop in your suitcase.
Simply slapping some tinted moisturiser on followed by a few coats of mascara can really perk you up when you’re feeling ‘bleurgh’. And if you have an important meeting, or just need some stronger armour, a full face with manicured nails can create a great shield of confidence.
So, imagine if you couldn’t do any of that. Imagine having to decide between spending your last few pounds on your concealer or a bag of pasta.
So the MCRBC gang had a mega Saturday night out this weekend and I don’t think that I was the only one feeling a little worse for wear on Sunday
I don’t know about you but once I’m feeling alive again (usually after a gallon of tea) my skin is always lack luster, more oily and just feels grotty.
These represent our beauty dreams that will hopefully all come true in 2016 (and the image represents the scariest element of The Muppet’s Christmas Carol that I’d prefer not to focus on right now as I’m home alone…)
