Every month we’ll be selecting one product each that we just can’t live without and sharing them with you!
Lauren’s Hero Product for January is the Illamasqua matte lipstick in Growl, and she looks amazing in it! It’s a rich mahogany brown and is a matte formula so bang on trend. It’s currently on sale for £9.25. Better stock up, Lauren!
Emmy loves the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Super Translucent Matifying Powder, £12.00 and is currently on a 3 for 2 at Boots. Emmy says it keeps her foundation in place and shine free all day, and as it comes in this handy pot with a mirror, it’s excellent for touch ups during the day!
Carrie uses Coconut Oil for practically everything! We were all amazed at the things you can use it for, so we all promptly ran out and bought our own pots! She uses it as a night mask (hair and face!) on her scalp, lips, eyebrows, as a primer, make up remover, scars and as it’s antibacterial and antimicrobial it can be used to treat all manner of skin ailments! Oh and of course you can cook with it!
Laura is loving her newly acquired Real Techniques brushes! She has added the Expert Face Brush and the Stippling Brush to her collection and made her foundation and blusher application easier and look more professional! (not that it didn’t before, Laura!) £9.99 and £11.99 respectively.
Sara says her Hero Product has changed her blush and bronzing life! The Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette is super easy to use with a blusher, highlighter and bronzer all perfectly matched to suit your complexion and all in a handy compact that you can take anywhere, all for just £22!
Fiona’s Hero Product is also by Urban Decay! The Naked 2 palette is a classic with a range of mattes and shimmers, and neutrals right through black for the perfect day to night looks! £37 may sound a lot for an eyeshadow palette, but with 12 colours at just under £3.10 each it’s an absolute bargain!
Lucy can’t go a day without Bumble and Bumble’s Pret a Powder! It’s a style extender, dry shampoo, volumiser and texturiser in one tiny bottle. Lucy has mega fine hair that needs washing everyday but needs help with texture and lift and it’s an absolute fringe saver! The bottle looks small and the price tag is big, £21.50, but a little goes a long way and it will last a good few months.
Rachel’s Hero Product made us rush out and buy it too, Origins Super Spot Remover, £15, has been her go to spot treatment for a while and it’s all down to the Salicylic Acid to help heal any blemish, big or small.
