Sunday Riley – CEO Moisturiser Review

Here at Manchester Beauty Club we are big fans of Sunday Riley, especially Good Genes which always seems to crop up in our cult products. So when I read that Sunday (yes that is the founders real name!) was launching the CEO range which includes a moisturiser, oil cleanser and serum I had to get my hands (well technically my face) on it.

CEO is a hydrating moisturiser which offers antioxidant support and helps fight visible signs on ageing, pollution damage and environmental stress. One of the key ingredients is oxygen-stable THD (tetrahexydecyl) ascorbate, which is a significantly less irritating form of vitamin C, making it suitable for more sensitive skins. It also remains stable whilst penetrating the skin to help boost skin texture and volume.

I have been using this product for at least 6 weeks and to say that I am obsessed is an under statement. As someone who has oily and dehydrated skin, I was worried that the thick formula of this moisturiser would break me out, or add to my midday oil-slick. It has a whipped and comforting creamy formula which feels nourishing and leaves my skin plump and radiant. It seems to be helping with pigmentation and redness, and overall my face just looks better with it. I use it morning and most nights (depending on my routine) and would not be without it now. It also goes on well under make-up, and it seems to have tackled my dry patches.

The smell is quite citrusy, as you would expect with a Vitmain C product, and it reminds me of the Origins Ginzeng range, which I also liked back in the day. This product has quickly become a holy grail item in bathroom cabinet! Now to get my hands on the serum…
