Continuing our festive theme, we cover our current ‘Can’t Live Without’ faves…
Emmy – I ordered the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette and started swatching straight away. It is amazingly heavily pigmented and I’m totally in love in with it. Similar to the Urban Decay Naked palettes, with really nice warm tones and a great selection. It is great value at £14 and is pretty much my perfect palette.
Sara – As a natural redhead, I have searched for years for an eyebrow pencil to match my colouring and I have finally found it! The NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil (newly available at Boots) in Auburn. It is actually a true match for us gingers and as if that wasn’t good enough, it’s only £4! Christmas has come early!
Carrie – I absolutely adore my Parlux Powerlight 385 hairdryer; it has literally changed my life! As a busy working mum with a little one anything that helps me shave a few minutes off my getting ready routine is more than welcome. This hairdryer goes one better and dries my thick hair in minutes, meaning it’s easier for me to keep on top of styling my hair more often. It wasn’t cheap at £90 but it really is a game changer!
Laura – My current fave is my Filmstar Bronze and Glow in Light from Charlotte Tilbury, at £49. It’s basically a foolproof contour kit for fair skin. The bronzer is perfect for sculpting and shaping without being too heavy and the highlighter is subtle whilst giving a flattering luminous glow. It’s not cheap, but it comes in a CT standard beautiful compact with mirror, so it’s technically 3 products in 1, isn’t it?!
Lucy – When Laura went to New York, we all put in our orders and she picked me up the Sephora Favourites Give Me Some Lip, at £20, mainly because it contains the Kat Von D Lolita. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I loved something else in the set even more! The Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème in Je T’Aime is simply amazing! It goes on so smoothly and feel just like a lip balm, whilst still being long lasting and the perfect shade. If lips were naturally red, this is what they would be like.
Rachel – I am loving my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette, £56. Combining Incandescent Light, a pearl highlighter; Dim Light, a neutral peach beige setting powder; and Radiant Light, a sun-kissed golden bronzer it has become an essential tool in my ‘night out’ make up kit. i don’t think there is any other product that delivers like this.
Fiona – I am always trying to find new ways to fade or cover-up dark circles and the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer, £36.50, ticks the box for me. Available in 16 shades (if bought from the US), it gives medium to heavy coverage that is completely buildable and is flexible in its uses. Use as a concealer, foundation, highlighter (go a shade lighter) or even mixed with moisturiser for a lightweight tint. It gives a soft dewy finish and smells amazing as well!
